Tips on DTT Shift Enhancer Install

I just got the DTT shift enhancer yesterday and I am installing it. Anyone have any tips on how to get out that 5 wire connector on the trans. It is very tight and I do not want to break off any clips holding on the plug. My hand seems to be too big to get a good hold of it. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Remove the acctator from the tansmission. It is 2 13mm bolts. Then remove the plug. It has a red tab that needs to be moved the te "release" position to remove the plug. Remenber when you cut the acctutor signal wire to cut high in the harness and not low on the plug. Solder your connections, other than that it is pretty straight forward.

Sorry for the follow up, I removed the boltes on the actuator pump and slid the red tab down. The plug does not seem to want to come out. I am not pulling too hard because I do not want o break anything, Should I have moved the tab down? Thanks.
