I use Timken bearings in the company CTD Dodge Ram trucks and have no problem with them at all.

I had a u-joint go and had to replace bearings because of that. I had Timkens put in and they have been great for 60,000 miles.

What else would be better?

I was just getting ready to post on my install and saw this thread. I don't know how you could go wrong with the Timken hub. I just installed a Moog kit 20 minutes ago on my passengers side. Only reason I went with the Moog is that it was available today. The Timken would have been next week, but I'm very comfortable with both brands..Good luck!!

My OEM hubs were Timken. I went back with aftermarket, so far so good. If you're in the market, look on Amazon.com. They had the best prices on Timken parts I've seen anywhere. My second look would be the online discount at Advance Auto. Call in and order it there but pick it up locally. You'll get their best deal that way.

I am still on my originals at 310K and I use oversize tires. Anytime I do the brakes or balljoints or axle ujoints I pull the abs sensors and force grease in there untill it comes out at the bearing seals.

Well you my friend are either lucky or have figured it out. I myself not so lucky and have become intimately familiar with the dodge front end but I'm ok with that, I can dive in there without a care in the world!!
BTW - the Timken hubs have been good - probably better than the mopar units and definately better than the china junk!
