Thrumming Sound On Turns

Morning y`all. I was hoping that maybe someone else out there in the greatest land on earth has experienced this issue and has some good news for me. I`ve recently purchased a 2004.5 2500 2WD Quad with a very low 38000 miles on it. It is a 5.9 HO w/ a 48RE automatic. Everything is really great with this truck except for a bit of a THRUMMING sound when making slower turns. It sounds like a carrier bearing going bad or possibly u-joints. I never have had any rearend issues with any other of my previuos trucks, so I don`t really know the sound of a bad pinion and ring. Any thoughts from out in Dieselville would be greatly appreciated.
