thinking about a new to me cummins

I am thinking about buying a 2007 3500 ram 4x4 quad cab short box with a 6 inch fab tech lift and 35 inch tires. Any idea of fuel mileage with is set up? Am I being ridiculous to make a truck like this a daily driver? Should it still handle good on hwy?

As long as the lift is done right, you have the correct offset on the wheels (if they are aftermarket), and your tires are E rated there should be no issue with it as a daily driver or stability on the highway. I have had a 5 inch lift with 35 inch tires for over 5 years without issue. My fuel mileage is 18-19mpg highway and 13-15mpg city. I get about 10mpg towing my toy hauler.

It doesn't sound like you have any experience owning and driving a 6" lifted 1 ton diesel on 35's.

1. You are asking about fuel mileage.
2. You are asking about handling.

Both these parameters should be your lowest priority if you are considering this truck.
Proceed carefully before you open your wallet.
