Replaced harness/gasket still getting p2146

Been driving my truck for a few months now since the first time I got this code and the truck ran like crap. Its been running fine until the other night I rolled into it WOT and a few miles later "BING", codes back and will clear but comes right back on.

So I ordered the updated valve cover gasket/injector harness and replaced it today. Everytime I start it, bing, rough idle and same code. So is it time to go ahead and replaced injectors? Been wanting to for a while just haven't bit the bullet yet. What do you guys think? Hope I don't do them and it turms out to be the ecm.

Gonna swap injector 2 and 3 to see if the code follows and singles it out to injectors. If not I'm guessing ecm.

Did you ohm test each injector and are they all reading the same?
Did you try this test?
If code keeps resetting after doing this then most likely ECM. Also check for spread terminals on harness plug.

One at a time, disconnect both wires from each injector and insulate the terminal ends so the circuit will not short to ground on the effected bank (1-3 for P2146 or 4-6 for P2149). Clear the codes and start the engine, check if the same code resets. If an injector is disconnected and the code does not reset, replace that injector

So if I think its #3 unplug it and if it runs without a code it's most likely that injector right? Sounds alot easier than swapping them. Thanks

Your signature states Smarty, Banks Power PDA and a boost fooler.

Isn't the Banks PDA an interceptor type module? If yes, get it out of there as it could be causing your issues.

BTW, you should sell all that stuff and get a good EFI Live tune for your 2006 Cummins.
