Replaced CSS still getting P0336 now what?

Replaced CSS still getting P0336 now what?

Ok guys, after running around all over town to get a crankshaft sensor I'm still getting a P-0336 code.. I replaced it and truck still has a hardtime starting and still getting the code.. Any ideas would be great!!

Sounds like it could be a wiring problem. Any other codes setting? Is the code active meaning does it come back on as soon as you clear it? Do you have a good multimeter and know how to use it? Possible Causes
CKP SENSOR
(K24) SIGNAL CIRCUIT OPEN
(K853) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT OPEN
(K975) RETURN CIRCUIT OPEN
(K24) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (K975) RETURN CIRCUIT
(K853) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (K975) RETURN CIRCUIT
(K24) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO (K853) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT
(K24) SIGNAL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUND
(K853) 5-VOLT SUPPLY CIRCUIT SHORTED TO BATTERY NEGATIVE
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
ECM

Also check speed indicator ring behind crankshaft damper if damaged will set code.
