How hard was it to get the injector loose from the connector? In the service manual it says you need a special tool, did you have this tool or is it even necessary? How about getting the injector out of the hole?

I just pulled the high pressure connector tube out with my hand. I hadnt heard of any other way to do it, and the directions I had said "pull out high pressure connector tubes" and showed a picture of a guy holding one in his hand. as far as the injectors, I pried up gently with a tire lever, which seems pretty close to the "special" tool they are using. everything came out ok, and nothing seemed to have been damaged in the process.
