take a look at this picture of my turbo

there is something, on that one flute that done look good. i donet know what it is, it feels kinda rough, not too bad, but it looks like its crooaded (sp)

Looks clean, possible minor corrosion but nothing to lose sleep over.

Clean it with a tooth brush and a little carb cleaner.

That is what is left of the white paint mark. I always just thought they used this for indexing/ballancing.

@ an idle .....spray the fins with WINDEX.......

AT AN IDLE...

that will get em nice and clean... my K&N cries on mine just a little and that does the job... and at an idle it (the windex) will be dried up before it even reaches the intercooler

Looks like you got a bit of road salt or mag cloride that once it evaporated left you a bit of resadue. . . . . .whataya think?

It's paint..... Comeon guys you got to be kidding me. I have the same paint mark on my turbo.... No big deal. It's fine.

how would road salt get in there? but, it does look like that.


im going with pant mark, seems like thats what most guys think. i never noticed it before. but i may not have seen it.
