Where is it leaking from, the middle of the hose, or where it attaches? There may be a burr on the metal. Are you talking about where it goes back into the block, or the heater core?

Thats the spot it is a common problem on the 06's ...... ........It was leaking around the clamp again, but the hose was broke before.... Problem is clamp too tight it cuts hose.... Too loose and it leaks...... Dealer seems to think tightening it all the time will fix it ....... I am going to get a better hose this weekend

So, where did you notice the leak? On the ground, right wheelwell, Running, not running, dripping from ?

The reson I asked this way is because I had some residue in the right frot wheel well, and it was in the rear also, so it made me think I ran over somthing.

But the dispersement patteren was a lot more in the front than the back.

I was just at the dealer today getting mine fixed. Apparently it was a broken clamp on the bottom of the radiator to the hose.

My 06 leaked there also, that 4 or 5 inch hose, noticed my coolant going down a bit, checked there and tightened the clamps, and she quit, hope it doesnt come back.

It is the reddish 4 or 5 inch hose with heat shield on the side facing the turbo..... It has two clamps on it..... All 3 of my familys 06's leak there however mine seems to be the worst ....... The dealer tried retightening the hose hopefully it will stop.....

I haven't looked at mine yet to see what the hose looks like, is it a molded hose??? Or is it a section of bulk hose?.. if its just a piece of bulk hose, may end up changing it to the high silicone blue hose. Takes very little clamp pressure to seal it. If its molded, take to hose end off, put a dab of RTV silicone around the male end, and reinstall. Also, what kind of clamp is on it, standard worm gear, constant torque, spring???... I think I'll get out there this weekend and see what this is all about, last thing I need is the wife burning up her hotrod.

Mine leaked there too. I didn't want to deal with the dealer, so I took the clamp off, added a little blue lock-tite, reistalled and have had no problem since.

Now, I had another leak on the hose that comes off the radiator cap. That I fixed with a plastic zip tie.

Do a search on the forum for the exact part numbers in other posts that deal w this problem- but here's the deal: there is a dodge replacement kit for this part, comes packaged with better hose and two constant tension hose clamps. The screw type hose clamps can't adjust to the heating/cooling this time of year w the temperature changes, that's why they leak. The better hose and constant tension clamps fix it. It takes about 2 hrs to swap out and it's more work than it appears. It's definitely doable yourself though.
