Strange NO start issue in AK. Need help please!
Ok heading back up in the am to try to diagnose so any help appreciated.
My truck in my sig, been running and starting perfectly, even in the cold 0 deg. Even tested it last weekend just for giggles. Left it outside overnight not plugged in below 0 and it started instantly.
Parked it 2 days ago to go snowmobiling. Probably -15 or so at night. 3/4 tank of fuel with a good dose of white Power Service (since OI knew it was going to be parked outside), getting plenty of good fuel to the filter, lift pump working, filter or canister not gelled up, grid heater working, excellent batteries.
Truck will not fire....... At all. Not so much as a puff of white smoke from the tailpipe. Added 911 to the tank and filter housing. Getting zero fuel to the injectors. Tach works when cranking as well.
I believed it was a cold weather or gelling problem, so spent my efforts heating under the engine until the propane froze up, heating the ip and lines until that little torch froze up and nothing.
Between getting a cold wife, kids, 4 snowmobiles and a back up plan to get off the mtn I did not disconnect the batteries or read codes. Again, at the time was certain it was temperature related.
After a long drive home I'm not certain it has anything to do with the fuel system gelling up. Going to take a generator back up and plug in the block heater and charge the batteries, starting to get slow now after multiple attempts. And check codes.
Any wisdom before I drive out of cell service again in the morning, thanks.
Trying to save what may be a $1000 tow bill since I have to drive back up there.

Glad you got it fixed. Where did you get your last couple of tanks of fuel at?
They were from local Tesoro stations. All high volume city gas stations. Nothin out in the sticks.
Was really strange I didn't catch any water at the filter and definitely was not gelled up.
Gonna chalk it up to an in explainable shot of moisture on the high pressure side or possibly a frozen contact somewhere that caused the injectors not to fire.

Yeah, I never have water problems with Tesoro.
Hope it doesn't do it again.
