Thinking of buying and '03-'05 CTD auto. On my '94, the stock TQ stall speed seems really high...when it's accelerating the RPMS stay around 2k the whole time until it gets fast enough to lock the TQ. I don't like that...I'd rather have the rpms increase in conjuction with speed just like every vehicle with a gas motor and auto I've ever had. Do the 3rd gen stock autos have a real high stall speed like my '94?

 

If I stomp on it it stays at 3000 for a while....
