I go in Monday for some BFG 285's on my 06 Mega Cab. The take off's will have less than 50 miles on them.
Any idea of what a fair asking price would be for them?

Think 500 for the set is fair to ask?

 

I paid that for my tires AND rims. I know it was a steal, but I (personally) wouldn't pay $125.00 for them. $400 maybe.

 

I would ask $400 for the set. Like PJ said, you can find a deal for both tires and wheels for around $400. Try putting them on Ebay at a starting bid of $250 and go from there.

I just sold the stock tires (4) & new spare for $500 off my 06 mega. They had 1800 miles on them.

Sold my 265's BF Goodrichs stockers for 500.00 just recently...

Here in Michigan I had been told a new set from a tire dealer would be around 700.00 plus so 500 seemed great to the guy that bought them..............

 

Michelin stockers here with 750 miles. $300 for 5.

I just drove my 05 off the lot and over to Les Schwab. They gave me Weld wheels with 315 BFG tires and all hdwr for $1600.00 and my stock wheels/tires. Since retail on just the Welds are a tick over $1600 then lug nuts, tires, mounting, and warranty. Seemed like a pretty good deal. I was surprised when all 32 lug nuts were the gorilla security nuts.
