Steering damper shot?

I was under the truck last week changing the oil and I grabbed the steering damper to pull myself back out and it wobbled a little. The bushing on the body end seems worn out, does that matter much? The front end is only 10,000 miles old so the rest of the bushings are in good shape.

What do you recommend for a new one? Is it worth the money for more expensive?

Thanks

A shock is valved different then a steering damper. A steering damper is 50/50 most shocks are not.
