I have been using standard 40 cetane LSD in my '05 since I got it last year. I have been using Howes additive to the fuel, but I plan on changing over to the power service silver. Anyway, these past few months I have noticed that on startup I have a bit of grey smoke and a slightly longer crank time. Yesterday I went to a RaceTrack and filled up with 45 cetane and didn't add the Howes additive, and the past few startups there have been no smoke clouds or long cranks. Do you guys think it is the fuel I get or can it possibly be the Howes? I went to the dealer about 2 months ago for the smoke and they told me it tested out all fine. They kept it for 2 days so they could test all the injectors and let it sit overnight and they told me everything was fine, the injectors were not an issue. Whats the consensus?

 

Bump for those who haven't seen it yet. Anyone have any ideas for me?
