stalls while driving
stalls while driving
2004 dodge 5.9 diesel.125k. Cuts off going down the road. Changed fuel filter, added stp injector cleaner, still does it. Turn ignition on and off to restart. I can hear fuel pump. Seems to run better when rpm around 2k but still stalls every few miles. Any help will be deeply appreciated. thanks
The pump may be on it's way out. Is the pump still on the fuel filter?
Do the key trick method to see if you have any codes...

If it does not display with three turns, do four.
If you get 0628, it's the pump.
Let us know what codes you get.

Yes. There are a few options.
First, is the fuel pump still on the fuel filter canister?
If it is, you have a few options with this. You can:
Order a OEM replacement from Geno's garage, but it is the weak design that craps out often.

You can get a raptor fuel pump and run it into your stock fuel filter canister.
You can get an Air Dog and run it straight to the CP3, bypassing the stock canister.
There are other options, but these are the basic three. I have done the above options many times. Let me know if you have any questions. The Air Dog and Raptor are sold in the DTR store.
