Anybody out there in the St. Louis area found a dealer with good diesel techs for TSB work or ECM flashes? My bosses 2006 2500 CTD gets really crappy mileage (about 13.5 not towing). Dealer where we bought our trucks (Royal Gate Dodge) claims they know nothing about ECM flashes. My new 2006 is doing well for having only 1600 miles (I'm getting about 16.5 to 17.0 mixed hwy/city). Eventually I'm sure there will be a TSB out there for mine and I need to know where to take it. Thanks in advance.

I get mine done at westport.I have not heard any thing good about royal gate. I have 2 friends that bought theres at that dealer they tried to pocket the 100.00 warr deductable.As far as lou fuze dodge tommy gun does not work there no more and he was not in the service dept anyway he was a salesman so I dont know how good there service is.I did have good service with lou fuze chevy though.

 

Royal Gate most certainly does do TSB flashes, I had mine done there with no problem. I just went to my salesman and told him about it, he called service and I had it done within 30 minutes. The service guy that wrote my ticket up was Earl Lafferty. He even took my suggestion about a few other TSB flash numbers that I learned about on this forum.

 

It seems that my boss has misinformed me. When he went to Royal Gate Dodge to request a flash to correct his poor mileage, they told him to hold off until he accumulates a few more miles. I believe he's around 8000.
