Over the weekend my truck started "squeaking" in 1st and 2nd gear, only while decelerating with the clutch pedal out. As soon as the cluth is depressed or you touch the go pedal, the squeak stops. The noise is coming from the transmission area. It is loud, can be heard easily over the Magnaflo exhaust. Sounds like a hamster in his wheel. Anyone ever heard of this?

 

Yes, it's called a bad "U" joint.

 

U joint, dont let it get to bad there are some guys on here that when the joint goes it did some REAL damage

Thank you for your responses- I tried to listen with someone else driving and it does sound like its coming from the rear u-joint. Can't say that I've ever heard a u-joint squeak. It'll be changed tonite. Thanks again.
