Speedometer option's

I did a search and I have not found any real answers on what you do when you install bigger tire (35-12.50-20) . I have read that the truspeed doesnt work on a 05 or newer. And the dealers can only do 05's and older. So what else can I do to recalibrate my speed-o

thanks

You can purchase a Bully Dog or Smarty and enjoy the power... and also recalibrate for the tire size. I have not heard that the dealers cannot recalibrate tire size? They should be able to do that for you, but no experience of going to the dealer to do that.

Prior to having my Smarty a friend that has a speed shop adjusted mine using a Snap-On scan tool. I am not exactly sure of the model used. I know he has a fairly high end tool. There is a value in the ABS section they can change a value to compensate for tire size. It worked well when I changed from Factory 17" to the Rickson 19.5" rims/tires. If you know someone with a decent scan tool like used at most repair centers I am sure it can be done. Any dealer can make the change also but I believe most of them want to charge you something for it.
