Speedo Recalibrated?

I need to get my speedo recalibrated, will the dealer do this? Any specific info I need to tell him? What revs per mile for procomp 315's.

Speedo recal is up to you, but yes, it can be done at the dealer. It would be really handy to have the revs per mile number for your tires. Get that info at the tire store. I charge minimum of .5 shop labor. If you don't have the revs and I use the "guess and check with GPS" it can cost a little more.

It's an easy adjustment that will take the dealer 5 minutes at most. He simply plugs in the DRB tool and goes thru the menu. Easy and quick. For any size tire over 285-70-17 you must be ready to tell him the revs per mile which is available at your tire store or from The Tire Rack. When he gets to the tire size window he will have to select "other" if you have a size larger than 285. Some dealers say it can't be done, some will charge you an hour, some will make an appointment for next week, and some will simply grab the tool and get you on your way in five minutes. Shop around a little, stop at a dealer you pass on the road. All of a sudden you'll have it. Simple.
