Special tool or just a Deep socket.

Hello I have a 2006 with the auto. my question is concerning adjusting the bands in the trans. What I need to know is do I need a special tool or will a deep socket work on the the band strap adjustments.
Thanks
Mitch

You should not use a socket, as you will need to hold the Torx screw in place as you tighten the nut back down. The wrench is a stardard and i think, if memory serves, the Torx is a T25, but it may be a T30, someone else may know this.

No special tools other than an in-lbs torque wrench. Just a set of torx bits and I believe a 13mm wrench. You'll need torx bits for the filter anyway.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Do not overtighten the jamb nut.
