Anyone know of anywhere on the net that has sound bytes of a Cummins idling?

 

The only one I know of can be found here at the bottom of the page.

Same here! Its funny when I start up my computer, login and walk to the coffee machine forgetting to re-adjust my volume! Took a while for people around me to get used to it!!!

 

sweet, that is just what I wanted. How do you guys get it to play when you start up windows?

 

Download the .wav file and save it somewhere on your hard drive, doesn't matter where, just remember where you put it. Click the "Start" button, go to "Settings", then "Control Panel", then "Sounds". Scroll down the event list and click on "Windows Start", then click on the "Browse" button to find the .wav file if you can remeber where you saved it. Click "OK", then "Apply" and you'll be all set.

 

Save it to the desktop. You can always find it there.

 

I have the file playing on loop right now. Its so damm nice to listen to
