You guys rock!! Do you realize everyone agrees on this oil thread?!?!!? Nobody blasted anybody and some great opinions were put out there!!!!

Now I'm going to look at those bypass filters.. See how hard they are to put in and how much they are. I'd like to run one, but still change at 10,000 miles using dino oil. And I still like the UOA because it can catch a failing injector or coolant leak....

They are not hard at all to put in. The hardest part is finding a place to mount it. I wanted to mount it under my hood but the MK-2 got in the way so I am mounting it where AH did his. If you spend the 10 bucks to get the perferred customer account you will save your self a ton of money on the bypass!

Didn't AH document his install somewhere? I still haven't looked, and I always blast peeps that don't use the search... So dang me!

I think they aren't that expensive either. Looking.......

Right on all counts.
Regardless of one's opinion on type of oil or change interval, UOA is the only way to know what's going on inside.
