So what do you think it is?

A little test for you all to test you brains and knowledge. What do you think this is and it's cause?? Theres only 4400 miles on that filter. So think hard and I'll say who's the winner if some gets it.

I'll bite. Possibly emulsafied oil and water. I would put a hose in the fuel tank and pull a sample from the bottom of the tank.

Can't tell by the pictures if what your holding is solid or jelly like. I originally though it was to light in color for algie based on what I've seen in the past. It could be though.

Here is a couple pictures. One that is algie (large filter) and the filter we use that looks like it has algie in it.

It's your finger with pancake syrup! Just not sure why you had the fuel filter in the kitchen during breakfast

Nope not yet and it's not algae. And it's not syrup but it was more like brown gravy. Only one is close but not really. This will be fun if some one gets it and I just might have to send them some of my prize winning jerky.
Oh it through a P0148 code too.

Bad Bio-diesel? YES it is bad processing. the cutting agent to remove the inpurities in the first stage was able to pass by, Thank god that I use 2 micron filters. The cutting agent in like light powered and it was manufactured wrong and then because it is under such force during proccessing it was able to pass the 5 micron filters. Now there running 1 micro absolute at the pump as well as stepping down from start to end. So I'll be getting some free fuel for a tick.
