SO vs HO piston crowns and injectors

Can anyone confirm or deny for 100% that injectors from a 2003 HO will swap over to a 2003 SO? I've ben told there is no difference and I've been told that the angle on the piston crowns is different so the injectors have to be different.

I know that the 04.5 up engines are different and maybe this is where people are getting confused.

I've called and few shops and been told that there is no difference and no one makes injectors specific to SO engines.

There is absolutely no difference in any of the tips pre 04.5. After 04.5 they are all the same. The difference in HP ratings between so, ho and CA is in the programming. That is why a lot of the CA motors respond so well to programming mods.

Loyd, does than mean there are no differences in the piston bowl design in pre 04.5 engines?

Been said there are differences in the bowl design between SO and HO but that would neccessitate a spray angle change, right?

Does it track that since there are no differences in tips there are no bowl differences also?

Well I have a CA 235 model and compared my pistons to an 04 HO 555 motor last week and saw no difference in the pistons from a purely casual, visual standpoint.

We both had a problem with the relative low melting point of aluminum.
