Smoke at cold start up!
Well started the truck this morning. Very hot out. My truck has had the reflash for fuel mileage, etc. When the truck started had alot of white smoke coming out. Similar to a big semi when they first start. I have really only noticed this after the reflash. Also the truck smokes more during hard acceleration. I am really not worried about either. However the smoke at startup has me concerned I may have a leaking injector! Is this possible? Truck run great though. And the mileage is much better. At least 2 mpg better!
Thanks for any help or advice.

Keep a close eye on your engine oil. Make sure the level isn't on the rise.
Coolant can be another cause of white smoke. It's associated with a sweet smell on older vehicles that use regular antifreeze, but I don't have a clue what the new stuff smells like.
Either way... Oil "increase" or coolant loss, and the warning bells should be going off.
Otherwise it's not unusual for white smoke to be the result of a lean condition or where a slight amount of unburned fuel is being injected into the system without the cat being warm enough to consume it.
My guess is that it's no more than a slight change in timing events and is of little concern as long as no other problems surface.
One last thought... Make sure your coolant is clean. There must be no oily residue whatsoever when you open your radiator cap and the expansion tank must also be oil-free. If your coolant is contaminated, then there's no question of a problem and it has to be addressed.
