smarty questions

I'm about to pull the trigger on a smarty. I'm trying to decide which one. My concern is fuel economy. Empty, and loaded.

At the moment I'm leaning towards the Smarty Jr. but am checking before I jump.

If mileage is your main goal and concern, then the Jr is a good choice. No real "need" for the Sr unless high-performance and engine mods are in the works.
Good luck and enjoy!

Agree with the 1stSgt. Look around on the Alberta threads, maybe someone is close to you so you can try one out.

Forgot to mention the mods...

Truck is an 04.5 cummins, with 5% bosch motorsport injectors, stage 2 cam (colt), Fass 95, and 4" downpipe, 5" muffler.

Not sure if this affects a smarty or not?

It will just give the smarty more to work with. The Jr is still what you want if you just want a little bump in power and MPG.

the smarty jr works perfect with what you have. the fass is a troublesome piece of junk. when it fails go back to tank pump. the smarty works with the cam and injectors to reduce in-cylinder egr. the combo reduces egt by 250* and give a total of about 6 mpg over stock.
