No spin front end guys in here plz
I have Dynatrac front end for about 30,000 miles now problem free but never have regreased a unit on our trucks before. Anyone have a link to a write up about doing this? Is there a special size socket for nuts? I assume its a big one. I'd like to do this in next few weeks and want to prepare. Thanks

What is your question? How to grease the bearings? Did you install the kit yourself?
The spindle nut socket is a standard Dana 60 socket like this...

Well, call Dynatrac to see what spindle nut they use but it should be a standard Dana 60 one like I posted.
As far as the bearing repack, etc, it's just like all Dana 44 or Dana 60 front ends from like 1968-1998+ depending on what vehicle. You have lockouts and spindle nuts to remove, and an inner and outer bearing to remove and repack. To get the inner bearing out you'll have to remove the inner seal, pull the bearing out, repack it, and put a new seal in.
Call Dynatrac, they should give you all the part numbers and tools needed for the job.

I haven't done wheel bearing since the 80's on my 1970 Chevelle. So I'm rusty in the memory department. On Dynatrac sight they mention a six point OTC spanner so should I get that or the four pointer you mention? Also how do I get bearings out of races? From there I think I can handle the rest.
Thanks
Thanks
