Smarty Jr - highest setting - 100hp

What are the mods you think would be needed to a 48RE to be able to ENJOY the highest setting on smarty jr???? Yes, I know, famous last words. "I am not planning on adding any more power than that! ". Can you get away with just a torque converter???

From: Well I thought I lived in America, but its looking more like france every day.
I dont think you need to do anything to your trans. Just dont abuse it and 100hp will be fine.

I'd say a VB and a coverter. I just have a quad standard and my tranny is on it's last leg because of the 100 hp setting I'm in bad need of a build it is sliping in every gear now.And keep in mind the smarty has a lot more bottom end power than the quad so it will slip the converter alot easyier.

3 disc torque converter. Just replaced the single disc after being at the lower setting on the Smarty Jr.
