slave cylinder

Driving down the road this morning I started to smell what I thought to be gear oil, but the clutch pedal had a lot of free play at the top and tranny is hard to put into gear while moving.
Clutch master cylinder won't hold full but I don't see any signs of a leak onto the ground, haven't climbed under it yet.

I'm thinking the whole set up needs changed to do having almost 100k on the cylinder. The cheapest I can find one is $315 plus shipping any ideas on a cheaper place.
