Have had 2 UOAs done on my last two oil changes, one of 5000 and one of 7500 since my Air Raid drop in has been installed. Don't see any dust upstream of the filter and clean side of filter is spotless.

5000 mile interval showed a 11 ppm Silicon number.

7500 mile interval had a 19 ppm Silicon number.

I did not touch the filter from the time it went in during the middle of the oil change interval PRIOR to the 5000 mi, 11 ppm SI oil change until after I had the sample back from the 7500 mi. interval. There was no contamination introduced from peeking at the filter.

My filter minder never budged even though when I finally yanked the Air Raid to go back to a paper filter the Air Raid was pretty nasty looking with about 14000 mi on it.

Just a little info for you Air Raid users.

 

I got a 6 ppm Silicon number with 10,000 miles on the oil using a AFE Proguard 7 air filter.

 

The UNI two stage filters in my kits are netting results of 4ppm to a max of 7ppm.
Thats with 5-15,000 miles and the average is 6ppm overall.
