Serpentine belt tensioner?

Is there a Serpentine belt tensioner on these models?
If not what ie the proper method fopr removng the belt?

yea their is its down on the passenger side assuming you have an 03 on up

And if it's the original, you should seriously think about replacing it. Save the old one for an emergency spare.

The belt is a pain on these.

The tensioner is accepts a 1/2" square drive, and I think it's best to release it with a long ratchet from the bottom, and then slip the belt off of the water pump first.

You can't reach the water pump from under the truck, but in the past when I didn't have anyone to assist I've used a block of wood between the ratchet handle and crank pully to hold the tensioner in the released position.
