Smile Sears - Diehard Platinum Battery Sale

SEARS - 20% OFF all DieHard Automotive Batteries + Additional $5 off + Free in-store pickup.

PLUS you can also get another $5 off $50 or more using coupon code SEARS2014. If you're a SYWR member you can also use additional points coupons on batteries instead of the $5 off, or even try stacking the discount offers and the points offers. You can also use the $35.00 off of $300 code during online checkout which is Sears35OFF300 for additional savings. Don't forget the 5 dollar battery return award card that Sears offers. Bring in 2 batteries and get 10 dollars towards a future purchase.

In-store pickup is free. Note: You must pickup at the Auto Department or Automotive Center, not the regular Merchandise Pick-up area.

Installation is usually extra if you don't have the time or the tools to do it yourself .....or just flat out lazy.

This is a good deal for the top-of-the line DieHard Platinum series batteries, which are re-badged, grey-container AGM Odyssey batteries made in the USA by the parent company EnerSys.

I am in no way affiliated with Sears. I am just passing along the deals on quality products. Especially those manufactured in the USA.

To hear the news tell it, Sears can really use the business...

I agree that Sears can use the support. Very misguided at the moment.

I added the disclaimer in order to make my intentions transparent. Just wanted to make it crystal clear that I am not a shill for this company.

Thanks. Good product. I bought two a couple of yrs ago. My stocker still lives in a 12v of a friend. I ordered, called and was informed six were in stock. Arrived 30 minutes later and they couldn't find any. Had to order from another store and was told they'd be in a couple of days later in the morning. I arrived to find no batteries. The other store had botched it. They sent a kid down to get mine from the other store. Finally got the batteries. I used to work for sears in the 70's and it was a tight, well organized operation.
Something's gone downhill.

Good link for anyone needing batteries. (And chances are with the winter cold batteries are going out everywhere and this deal will help)

I bought the group65 Die Hard Platinums when they were on sale not long ago and they are great batteries. I highly encourage anyone to take advantage of the discount. Good batteries are not cheap.

I have my opinions of Sears, especially with what they did with Craftsman tools and their sales model they are using now (trying to be cheapie walmart for tools and exploit the Cman reputation), but being a customer that can scrutinize individual products I will do. I still need truck batteries, and they still have the product available.

Yeah! I did not think of it that way. Albeit, nothing like some rigorous exercise and a little protein to keep the body going. Mmm...ants.

This deal ended yesterday. Just wanted to mention that the Platinum batteries have a 4 year free replacement, plus using an AmEx card for payment will get you an additional year of coverage.

This is a bit late, but can be considered for future reference when batteries are needed.....The Sears Platinum DieHards appear to be relabeled Odyssey batteries! Same case design and specs. Good batteries. I got 2 for my dually and one for my race car.
