running warm while towing

first off i have an 04 CTD 2500.
sometimes i pull a jeep on a trailer and on the interstate its fine i dont have it in tow/haul mode. but i was told to use the tow/haul around town in stop and go traffic. my question is, why when i am driving around town using the tow/haul mode does my coolant temp. guage read about a quarter over the 200 mark? i dont think that this is normal but i dont know.
thanks
adam

When towing my boat (#6500) the water temperature would climb but the needle would not go past the 200* mark. If you mean that the needle goes 1/4 of the spacing between 200* and the redline, I believe you have a problem. May just need to flush out the bugs from the radiator, transmission & intercooler.
