RP monitoring/ Good Shop WY
RP monitoring/ Good Shop WY
I've read some folks who can monitor the rail pressure on their trucks. Are you guys using a mechanical type gauge (dial guague with an electrical sender tapped into the rail) Or are you using a PDA type set up that reads directly through the ECM?
Second question. Moving to Wyoming here in a couple of months and looking for a reputable 'hot rod' shop to take my truck for some work when I feel like I dont' have the time. Specifically in the South/ Central/ South East side of the state. I know ATS is in CO but that's a bit of a drive.
Thanks all!
Mike

Leibee Machine in Rock Springs is a good machine shop that does machine work on just about everything and hot rod stuff too. He won't work on your truck, but he will work on the engine! He can get you any kind of parts you need or tell you where to go. Ask for Brian, he owns the joint. Good luck.

As for the gauge, theres the Quad RP that is electronic. Then DiPricol and ISSPRO both have regular gauges. They all tap into the pressure sensor
