Does anyone else ever have any issues shifting the G56 into reverse? It doesn't happen all the time, but every now and then I won't be able to throw it in reverse at all! I'll have to either just hold the clutch in and shift through a couple gears or shake it around in neutral and eventually it will go in... anyone?

I think that happens to all of them. Every manual I have driven for any real period of time (1 Chevy 4spd, 1 Dodge 5spd, 2 Dodge 6spds) have done that to me at one time or another.

 

Normal manual trans.Even old three speeds on the column worked same way.

 

Yeah its a little bit of a pain to find reverse, but I still wouldn't trade it for an auto.....

 

Haven't had that problem yet. But I've only had the truck for a month, and still less than 1000 miles.

 

Well I guess it sounds pretty normal then! I have only owned one other stick and it was a '93 Ranger. It's been awhile since I owned that one, so I don't remember how it shifted. Thanks for the responses!
