i just went and picked up a reverse switch for my 06 ctd with the g-56 tranny, and was wondering if anyone has ever done one and wher a re they located on the tranny.

i called the dealer and told him what was going on and he said my reverse switch was bad. so any help would be appricieated.

 

What symptoms do you have that led to the dealer stating to replace your reverse switch?

 

no reverse lights, i checked the bulbs and they were good. he said that is a common problem with this model tranny.

Got to replace mine tommorrow. Then got to put a new FCM and TIPM later in the week. *********** was grinnin from ear to ear when they told me that.
