Talking Removing FF mounted Lift Pump

I'm going to replace my fuel filter mounted lift pump with a frame mounted Walbro set-up. My question is when I remove the OEM lift pump, will I have to fabricate a plate on the FF? I haven't removed it yet, but need to know BEFORE I do. Thanks!https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...wthread&f=102#

I'm becoming quite interested in the same thing. I am beginning to doubt the life of my lp after a few mods.

unfortunately it took a guy driving a FERD to come up with this

Dunno what to say to that...

You should be able to find info in this thread. If it isn't in there, ask there so that it becomes the place for people to get info when doing a Walbro conversion.

Do a search on Ebay for Walbro. I got mine from a speedshop with an Ebay store. I think he specialized in Turbo Buicks. Anyway it was $108 + $9 shipping. Cheapest I could find on the net.

Scotty used to sell the adaptor plate but I think that he had issues keeping the some of the last plates he made in spec so he quit making them. Hopefully he will chime in to confirm.

Forgive me if I'm missing the obvious here, but are you going to be feeding the fuel line's straight to the CP3 pump, or the fuel filter housing. If your going the filter, FASS and Bully Dog make the adapter plate. Here's the Fass one.
