Relentless Diesel Valve Body Upgrade

Anybody know anything about this. I called and expected to have to order an upgraded valve body (like the DTT, or gerend) but it sounds like they do it in house? I am going to have them do it but I just want to make sure that what I want and what they are doing is the same thing you know.

Is this in house valve body the same as if I was to order one? The price they quoted me was around $500 installed. Does this sound about right for one?

Any info would help out alot.

Thanks
Michael

Chris is a DTT builder and installer. He will shoot straight with you. It is my GUESS that he will be removeing your VB and replaceing it with a DTT valve body, or a Relentless custom VB. This is my GUESS only. Chris or one of his employees should answer any questions you have. Good Luck.

Jim

Chris did mine. He put a shift kit in and does his own mod to my vb. I like what he did. You can tell a big difference from stock. I believe I saved about 100 over a DTT. He also installed a triple disc and a billet input. There was a guy there before me and one after getting their trans work. He does alot of business for a small shop and he does it at good prices.

Yeah I was thinking about a converter and he said he'd prefer if I did an input shaft too.

How much did he charge if you don't mind me asking.

Yeah, I've heard he's a good guy. Seemed like a nice guy when I talked to him as well. Young guy, didn't seem like a greasemonkey.... Someone I'd like to deal with.

Hi Red, check your PM

He also drilled my exhaust manifold for an EGT gauge at no charge. Oh yea, he installed my double deep trans pan no charge but he did charge for the extra fluid.

For those who don't know Chris is a graduate of Texas A&M, and has a Bachelors in an Engineering discipline. If I read his diploma correctly, which at one time was hanging in his office, I believe it is Mechanical (imagine that)
