Rear seal removal

I'm sure this is a simple question and task, but I guess I'm not doing something right. I'm having to rebuild my transmission and clutch and need to replace my rear seal. I've tried popping it out with a screw driver. Does anybody know an easy way of removing this thing?

If you are talking about the one at the back of the transfer case where driveshaft goes in. I myself popped mine out with a screw driver. They do make a seal puller that has a hook on the end.

You have to remove the flywheel/flexplate then the bell housing, and the seal is in a "holder".....remove the 10mm bolts and the seal and seal holder will come off.....make sure when you put the new seal in you have the right seal install tool so you dont roll the lip on the seal...
