JKE makes a really good point. as much as i sympathize for you and would love to hear about the little bastards suffering, the thought it might taker out their natural predadtors is worse. you need a moat or fire around your truck! really think about getting some barn cats.

Told the wife about your rodent problem. She said she read that they hate the dryer anti static sheets. The ones you throw in the dryer. Probably a Heloise thing. Who knows it might work and your truck wont have that static cling and it will smell nice and fresh Might be worth a try.

Get yourself a terrior dog or a Jack Russel dog. They live to kill rats. I sympathise with your problem. Living on a ranch with animals and feed, you can only hope to control them. Go around and get rid of their habitat and keep the feed in steel containers if possible. Cats are good for mouse control and a few will go after the smaller rats, but a terrior dog thrives on killing rats. Good Luck

You can get you some Havic at your feed store, they come in packs of two and just leave them around or under the hood where they won't fall off they are pellets afther they eat them they are thristy, out they go to get a drink, when they do it swells them till they die it works really well and it only cost a dollar a pack
