QuickCheck II

I work for an engineering agency and one of my coworkers worked for cummins back in the day. He gave me a QuickCheck II J1939 converter with everything. Will this work for my '06? I could only find info for 2nd gen stuff.

Guessing no one has used this? Thinking it will work, just reads the J1939. ANY input would be good.

im at work so cant take any pics now, it came with one cable that plugged into the unit(phone line looking) and had a 3 pin flat(thinking male end). It also came with 2 adapter harnesses, one that has a female flat 3 to triangular deutch type connector(we use this at CAT across the board) and another that I cant remember. Ill take a pic later. Not really sure where the can data link is located on these trucks. Near the ECM im guessing. Ordered a palm III last night for $20 of ebay

I can get the part numbers for ya when i get home also if that helps you.

Here are the pics

The one is the unit which is part of the "QuickCheck II Dodge" PN 4025391 and the main harness 4021286. The other pic shows parts 4005949 and 4005948, the adapter harnesses im guessing.

I thought some chips tap into the data link. Where is that connector under the hood?

edit: found it on quadzilla's site
http://www.quadzillapower.com/downlo...3-06_Dodge.pdf

Looks like harness 4021286 and the adapter 4005949 will work
