Cool Quick Hello From New Member

I have been monitoring since I got my Ram in late 03. The site has sure been
informative and helpful in giving me an idea what to keep an eye on.
My truck is still pretty low in miles @ 29K, but by my calculations its got
to last me till 2013 unless I get a raise or hit the lottery.
We have 3 Rams in the family mine, an 02 360 @ 32k and a 98 CTD @ 80k.

I do "love my truck" as they say, and glad I got the Ram. It hasn't seen any hard work yet.

BTW...FWIW...FYI.......
No 70mph vibes yet.--Have not put the new PS hose on for the buz yet.--Got the
new alternator bracket kit in my toolbox.--Cab lights did leak.--Milage has
recently dropped to @ 16.5 average, it was 21 a few months ago.--I towed
my RV last weekend and felt a huge loss of power ??--The truck is hard to
keep between the lines, steering seems slack.--Lots of slop and clunk in the driveline.--
My power seat does lock up from time to time.--my door seals are ok so far.--
--The rear diff is starting to talk a little.--The stock BFG E rated tires are wearing perfect.--
I decided to skip the fix for the clutch rattle.--I have had one reflash, the old one for
DOT or the cruise or somthing like that, I sure liked the higher anti stall RPMs or
idle speed before I got the reflash, not sure what they call it.--

Thanks for all the info,, keep up the great work. Would like to meet some locals.

Lot's of Texans on here. Texas is so big that we may not all be "locals" I have seen a few in the Houston area though.

Welcome Tex!

That drop in mileage is just about what I see every winter when the winter blend comes out I don't know if you have a blend in Houston, but from what I hear, you Texans got EVERYTHING else down there

Keep an eye on ol' Hoss, he will be trying to talk you into a concrete bed liner if you aren't real careful

In Houston Also

Howdy HouTex

I was born in Houston a long time ago, first car I bought was a used '53 Chevy if that tells you how long ago. This is my first Dodge CTD, traded a 2003 Hemi for it. I have had my issues but I do love the Cummins.

When I have time I get together with some Ram owners locally, mostly Hemi guys but a few with diesel in the blood stream. Some times even play at HRP. Waiting for my Juice/Attitude before I go again.

I am in the Spring Branch area, holler if I can help with spending your money on mods.

John

Thanks for the welcome. The service manager I have been working with on
my truck issues has been real helpful. I have not worried much with these
querks yet. When I get a chance to take my goat out for a ride we never
seem to end up at a dealership. But we always slow down to take a look
at all the new ones as we drive by. I have yet to buy a perfect truck but
I feel I got pretty close with this one.
I WISH I COULD WRAP IT IN BUBBLE WRAP WHEN I TAKE IT IN FOR SERVICE
