Quick Fuel Filter Stipid Question
I'm servicing my truck (2006 2500) right now and pulled the fuel filter out. Went to get one from my box from Genos, and it's slightly different, the end with the hole in it is a smaller diameter than the one I pulled out (2nd change, 20k miles) and the only way the new one will go in is to put the closed end into the "teeth" to hold it up, then install it, the open end is on the bottom now. Is that a problem??
or am I just freaking out over nothing? I suffer from "CRS"
Still runs fine, just curious..........

I don't know why I'm sooo hesitant to work on this thing when I totally stripped my '66 442 down to a rolling shell to get it painted all by myself...... Went to look at old filter, it still has the ends on it.

Check to make sure you didn't leave the end cap of the old filter in the housing lid... happens to all of us at least once!
