Problem?

i'm the guy that had my valves adjusted a few months back at a cummins dealer in Fresno,ca and the mechanic rolled the valve cover gasket putting it back together.I then drove it 5 hours and it ran out of oil and roached the engine and cummins rebuilt it free. When it was done they wanted to take it to a dodge dealer to have the computer read to make sure I hadn't had any "boxes" or anything on it.Which I hadn't and the printout from the dealer showed that. I noticed that all of a sudden after I got the truck back from cummins that I now have the automatic high idle when the truck is left running. The "rattle" on acceleration I originally had it to cummins for is still there fairly quiet when engine is cold but gets pretty noisy after warmup. It almost sounds like timing ping.It is worse after the dealer computer readout deal.Could they have done something like an update that would mess with timing?Maybe an injector going bad?Sure is frustrating.

Problem

I'd take it back to the dealer. If Cummins put the engine back together and in spect Dodge should not have to do anything or very little. Checking to see if you had a chip they may have upset the apple cart or at least the computer.

problem

Does anyone think that if they "updated" or "flashed" the computer that this could happen? Can they unflash it?
