Is the price of diesel trucks going to go back down?
Is it Possible that the tried and true are BETTER?
Since the 5.9 does not use the particulate trap,is it possible that people want to shy away from the complications (and poorer milage) that the new trucks pose?
Can't find anything on "NET about the 6.7L being cancelled.

The report I heard was from ABC news on the sean hannity show, that chrysler would not be renewing there contract with cummins for the 2010 year. I know it came out awhile back they would not go forward with there light duty diesel but 6.7 with renegotiations would stay, well later in radio spot it was stated that those fell through. The cummins spokesman did say though there was a possibilty that they could re-new in 2011. I'm just stating what I heard.
I like Hannity but he goes a little fast sometimes. I think the confusion about the 6.7L is: When Chrysler shut down all production Cummins SUSPENDED production at the plant that produces the 6.7L for Dodge. A spokesman at Cummins with the last name of "Land" has stated that the 6.7L contract remains in effect and when Chrysler/Dodge resumes building trucks Cummins will also resume 6.7L production. The only engines up in the air have been the new light duty Diesels. Some reports are that they may be renegotiating the light duty contracts instead of canceling them completely. I hope so as I would love to replace the Wife's Hemi Durango with a Diesel one. I think the Jeep driving folks have been lusting for a Diesel also.
