Power steering hose?

ok, my hose that runs from the power steering resvoir to the cooler is leaking right at the cooler. also called the return line. its got a 90 degree turn then up the power steering resvoir.

the other line from the cooler to the gearing is leaking to. both hoses started with a slight drip and since my truck sits in my shop a lot. drove it couple times for hunting season to pull my trailer and back in the shop and the drip turned into a puddle..

so i yanked the hoses off and drained all the fluid.

went to carquest and their computer doesnt show this hose, same with o'reillys and napa. so off to the dodge dealer. well they found it.
$141 bucks for this pre-molded hose that is about 14 inches long.

i said hell no, went back to carquest got some high resitant hose, since i cant make a 90 bend i made a nice sweep. nothing can rub or burn it.

so my problem is fixed with a little southern enigenering but WHY IS THE HOSE A 141 BUCKS.

Because only the dealer carries it!
Same as the #4 injector line. It is dealer only and used to be about $20 and when they started failing left and right (and still are) the new style is still dealer only and they charge about $60
