Power steering and Brakes just QUIT.
58,000 miles on a 03 3500 cummings. I went to start it up and I cannot turn the wheel and the brakes have no boost. Is this a Power booster problem or electrical/ computer. ABS fuses are fine, fluids level, I am Lost. If you have had this problem and know of the fix, please let me know. I am from Texas, but stranded in Miami.
If you would, email me @ bill@theroofco.com
Thanks

Bill,
Just so you know...the power steering pump and brake hydraulic pressure are all tied together. It's definitely a mechanical problem and not computer related.
Have you looked under your truck for power steering fluid? I would suspect that you should have tell tale signs of fluid dripping.
You could simply have a blown o ring fitting on a hydraulic line leading to the PS pump or the pump itself could be bad. Take a peek at where your lines are connected to your PS pump and see if the fittings are firmly connected or if they wiggle. If you have play at the fitting where it connects to the PS Pump it could simply be purchasing another line from Dodge and reconnecting. Best of luck.....
By the way, some of us boys on here are sensitive about our engines....make sure you lose the 'g' in Cummins
