possible tranny problem?

not sure if it sth etranny or something else so i thought id ask. truck seems to shift weird every once and a while. Sometimes taking a bit longer when dropping down a gear. Also, at low speeds, while barley touching the throttle, it seems like the truck cuts in and out. Not the engine but it almost feels like something slips for a minute sec and goes back in. It does this repeatedly at low rpms. I have narrowed it down to 2nd gear at between 1300-1400 rpm. It is not real noticeable but just enough where it doesnt seem right. I am not certain but it seems this started at some point after the dealer flushed my tranny and adjusted the bands. They said the fluid was fine and no shavings. I thought at first it might be the edge but i disconnected it completely and the truck still does this.
Should i take it to the tranny shop or does it sound like something else?

gov solenoid

Remove Pan And Replace Gov Solenoid And It Will Take Care Of This Issue. Good Luck, Dusty Hawk, Htstransmissions. Here Is The Part #4617210. You Could Also Shorten Kickdown Cable To See If That Helps.

Turn your Juice to stock. Find a hill and start up it slowly when you get into 2nd give it gas. It should slip heavily. Seems to be a common problem on the 04.5 with 2nd gear. Mine has to go back to the dealer again for the same problem. They adjusted the bands but the losen right up again. So now they had better replace them. On flat roads the tranny will blow right by by 2nd and you really won't notice it. So do the hill test

i havent done the romp on the pedal yet but i do know on inclines/hills the problem seems to be worse. So do you think its the bands as opposed to the solenoid? Also, i am out of warranty but if this is the cause, i might be able to argue my point????? might be a long shot though

to add to the problem.... i was coming home and noticed a monte carlo that was acting fast. I pulle dup next to him and rolled into the pedal. we stayed right next to each other and then i floored it. THe RPMs went up and it took about a full second for the truck to "catch a gear" and go. This has happened several times since i had it in the dealer. This is happening on level 5 on the juice but prior to the dealer this wasnt happening. Does this confirm the already stated problems? thanks again
