I have an 03 and when i get into the throttle hard it pops out the exhuast pretty good. it does it with or with out propane. is it timming or something major? and what would cause it? truck also has code 0336 (crank position sensor signal)

mine does that also its time for a modded pump or the arson kit

at high rpm i notice nothing but from 1750 to 2000 you can tell its struggling to keep up

but i am unsure of how much hp the arson will support

that might be my next mod pretty cheap for the extra hp it will support

but i dont know if it will support 120hp injectors

Weak lift pump. The popping is fuel starvation. I would start with a fuel filter change and work from there but you really need a aftermarket fuel system with your mods.

 

is the arson a lift pump and where would be the best place to order one?

 

not sure on the injector i bought the truck with them so i wont know till have ever have them out they could be stock? also im not sure how to pm you unless this is how? sorry

 

I have the same issue but no popping. Why would it not do it all the way to red line though. Mine only does it when at or about WOT. There is a noise associated with it also at those rpms. Kind of a like the turbo is rubbing something. I've changed turbo's and it still does it. when I first got this truck it would do it intermitantly now it does it all the time. Someone told me it was getting air in the fuel, but why not all the way to 3200rpm?
