53 ******,
Yours doesn't look like it's leaking too bad yet compared to a lot I have seen. If it gets real cold there in Utah it will get worse in time. If it ain't hittin' the ground DC won't replace it. Just keep an eye on it.

it's been below freezing for a little over 2 weeks here in Utah.
it's leaking pretty bad,(the pic makes it hard to tell how bad it is.) if I move the harness over a little it will leave a spot on the ground.
I have an appointment for the 14th so we will see.
that's so stupid if they wont replace it it's going to ruin the harness with diesel running over it all the time.

Mark

Little update.....

I took my truck in today for the leaking cp3...they called back said the part was defective and Star gave them the OK and released the pump
they told me the pump will be here in 1-2 days.

53 ****** - make sure you read this thread before you get it replaced - https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...d.php?t=136320. If you're getting it in 1 - 2 days you're getting it pretty darn fast.

Oh - and make sure they don't try to charge you the $100 deductible. More info on that in the thread also.

During my NYS inspection they noticed the leak, took it to the dealer who confirmed the pump is leaking and ordered a replacement (warranty) said it was back-ordered, should be here next week.

I would also like to know where this thing is located. Sounds like something I should put on order now before the problem hits.
